The "Carrot Snip" cookie is highly nutritious, made with lots of  pure, human-grade flax and therefore packed with Omega 3's.

In fact this cookie is at least 97 percent flax by weight, giving you nearly a pound of flax per pound of cookies! Why did Skode center this treat around apples?

Well, horses love apples! Plus, apples are very low in saturated fats, yet are a good source of fiber. Skode kept the skin on the apple pieces placed on top of the cookie, which is where most of the Vitamin C in the apple is stored.

How does Skode keep the NSC so low in this cookie?

Well, without giving away any trade secrets, what Skode can tell you is that these cookie contain mostly flax -- this cookie is 90 percent flax! --  and flax is naturally low in simple sugars.
