Boarding Barns and Facilities that Take Special Care
  of
Insulin Resistant and Cushings Horses

Know of a great barn where the special needs of Low Sugar Horses are considered? Please email Skode and she will make arrangements ot  interivew the barn manager. There is no fee of any kind to list your barn on this page -- we are simply creating community.
It is our hope that this database will become a valuable resource for low sugar horses nation-wide and even world-wide. Barn managers who take time to help Insulin Resistant and Cushings horses with special dietary needs are an important  find. People need to know about them!

A journalist, Lori has done her best to ask the right questions and to make sure these barns are indeed,  appropriate places for metabolically challenged horses. However, neither Lori nor Skode's Horse Treats  Inc.  can personally recommend these facilities, or guarantee the actions of anyone mentioned. Please do your homework, and let us know if you think you can help! A barn does not need to be "big" to make a huge difference in the life of a horse.
